Attorney Dr. Jonathan Davis launched his law career working for insurance companies, hospitals, and car manufacturers. His job required him to find ways to reduce the amount paid to the injured person. This felt unjust to Dr. Davis, as his actions resulted in keeping money for the big companies and not in the hands of the injured. He realized that even the “best” insurance companies hire attorneys for this purpose.
With a growing conviction for justice, Dr. Jon Davis switched his practice to only represent plaintiffs. Since 2011, he has only practiced personal injury law. In that time, he has excelled for his clients with combined verdicts, judgments, settlements and awards exceeding one hundred and seventy-five million dollars ($175,000,000).
In 2025, Dr. Jon Davis launched his own firm, Ozarks Injury Law – a practice dedicated solely to personal injury law, seeking to leverage his unique set of experience, skills, network and passion for his Ozarks neighbor, and beyond.

From the Ozarks
Attorney Dr. Jonathan Davis grew up in rural Taney County. He attended College of the Ozarks, graduating with a B.S. degree in biology. He then attended University of Arkansas and graduated with a M.S. in Agronomy and Ph.D. in Soil Physics.
Prior to his law career, Dr. Davis taught biology at College of the Ozarks, where he also launched the wildlife management program. He also worked for an engineering firm in Arkansas overseeing a 300 million dollar reservoir expansion project.
Eventually, Dr. Davis pursued his law degree at University of Arkansas. He clerked for the presiding Judge in Greene County, Missouri and was awarded the honor of being the best trial advocate of his graduating class, among other honors.
Attorney Dr. Jon Davis has practiced across the country (even Federal Court in the Southern District of New York where President Trump was recently on trial) and is permanently licensed in state and federal courts in Missouri and Arkansas. He is currently licensed on a temporary basis in North Carolina and Oklahoma and has previously been licensed and litigated in Texas, Iowa, Mississippi, Indiana, North Dakota, Louisiana, New Mexico, Florida, and New York. Dr. Davis has further resolved cases from multiple other states where a lawsuit was not required.
Dr. Jon Davis currently resides in Christian County with his wife and daughter. They are actively involved in their community church and enjoy traveling and gardening.
Dr. Davis’ roots run deep in the Ozarks, where his family has resided since before the Civil War. His grandmother cooked at Gateway Café (Spokane, MO), and his great grandfather pastored the Horse Creek Church (near Galena, MO). He has lots of experience using a rock pick, post hole digger, building fence, cutting ponds in the winter, cutting wood when it’s snowing, fishing and hunting.
